Susan has been a
professional baker for more than 20 years and has been
working for us since we opened Splash Café SLO in 2005.
Susan is always up to date with all new styles and flavor
combinations that are popular among brides so you’ll be able to easily work with her to create your perfect cake.
All of our beautiful pastries, breads and cakes that we feature in the restaurant are made by Susan and her staff.
We create our cakes from all natural ingredients, using recipes that are 100% reliable so that you don’t have to worry about the finishing touch of your
wedding.. the cake! Elaborate, inventive, multi-tiered cakes. Simple elegant cakes with fresh flowers. Beach themed cakes.
All of these are part of our repertoire. We have many choices of cake flavors:
vanilla, chocolate, carrot cake, red velvet and more. Choose a delicious
fresh fruit filling or
pastry cream filling and then frost your cake with a
fresh butter cream, whipped cream or the ultimate wedding cake finish,
fondant.
Want cupcakes? Great! We have a very versatile cupcake tower so you can have a 6” cake ‘topper’ on the top tier and fill the lower tiers with matching cupcakes. That way you still have a cake for the cake cutting ceremony and your photos but have the ease and the affordability of cupcakes.
Perhaps you would like a dessert buffet. You are at the right place. Miniature cream puffs, e’clairs, fruit tarts, bite sized cakes, freshly made truffles and chocolate dipped strawberries can work with your cake ‘topper’ to create a beautiful and diverse dessert buffet.
Pies or cheesecakes anyone? Fresh fruit, chocolate, coconut or the ultimate banana cream. We offer more choices than you can imagine.
